FOREVER 21 sweater, AS KNOW AS DE RUE booties, STEVE MADDEN bag

was quite busy the past week, so this ones a late post. photos were taken last weekend. since i'm a bit into Molome (photo app for BB - like instagram for iPhone), i have been flooding a lot on it and finally unlocked this filter. lol.

I've been drooling over these hi-tops from Isabel Marant(2nd photo) for long and I desperately wanted a pair a.s.a.p.. It is quite pricey of course but why not get one? But I saw a very similar ones(1st photo) from Rubi (Cotton On). They have it in blue and grey color and I got the fuchsia pink (more darker) one - looks like maroon in the photo though. Still thinking of getting another pair, probably the grey one? :)

Last Monday afternoon, I was walking down from Soho, Central and I passed through a street (I don't really remember the street name) which is like a mini market where you could find a lot of costumes for any occasions. I went through that way for just maybe I could see something interesting, and I did. I figured there are some of them that don't just sell costumes but are also selling different kind of buttons, laces and stuff like that. Perfect! I didn't had to go long way (well not really long, but at least I didn't had to go to the other side of HK) just to buy buttons. Sham Shui Po still have everything you need for DIY's of course but you could just find some of them in that street. :) -will try to take a photo of the street next time and of course the name. lol.

i just thought the blazer was too plain so I added some on the sleeves as well. I'm a gold lover, by the way.

it was around 14 - 16 degrees (according to the observatory) temperature on a Sunday, and I am wearing four tops, to be exact (enough for the weather or maybe too much?) and still, i don't get why I was feeling really cold out there. I hope it's not a sign of sickness coming along, geez! I've had that blue blazer for a long time already and I figured I haven't posted a look with it yet. LOL. I know, quite late. I got it last summer, i think. When the color blocking phenomenon was a blast!... and it still is. so, pastel blocking next time? hehe!

another ordinary day spent around Causeway Bay with mother (outfit photos- credits to her). finally wore the sweater I got from Forever21(Hong Kong) a week ago. I've been obsessed with loose/off-shoulders sweaters for like forever! wearing them is giving me the laid-back feel - which i love so much. Personally, I think it's a piece that is just really comfortable to wear yet sophisticated at the same time. Forever 21's got a lot of 'em! One of my favorite is the sweater i'm wearing on this post, which I got from Forever21 Philippines last year.

woke up quite late today feeling so gloomy. my emotions matched the weather so well. got up from bed and hangout right away with my best friends (mac pro and coffee). my mother quite noticed the lonely aura so she asked me if i wanted to go out for a stroll nearby and so these photos were the fruit of it. lol.

before Christmas Eve

as the month of december comes in everybody gets excited with all the Filipino Christmas traditions. count me in. every 16th night of december, the Simbang Gabi or Misa de Gallo will start continuously every late night or very early in the morning until the Christmas Eve. I wasn't able to complete it since I came home late already but I'm sure BRO will grant me blessings I surely deserve (I just did, actually, thanks BRO!). Along with this, Puto Bumbong and Bibingka are famous Filipino delicacies that are being sold outside the church, usually or in some markets. and of course the exchanging of gifts, may it be with family or friends. and also, the group of kids that goes to every houses for caroling (which I took video of. posting it maybe on the next entry).

Last year (2010), I was not able to celebrate Christmas here in Philippines 'cause I was supposed to work so I really had to make it this time. heh. Fun Christmas it is, though it wasn't as complete as before but there should be reasonable reasons for that. :) One thing I must have to say over and over - nothing beats the Christmas in Philippines. and oh! New Years, too! :)

so i have finally decided to come home (Philippines) for Christmas and New Year. I got here yesterday morning. didn't even sleep the whole night last tuesday 'cause i was just to excited.

orange is my favorite color, by the way. my mac case and keyboard cover are also in orange color. and oh! also my mini domo speaker. :)

had dinner with some of my friends (last wednesday night) at Giligans' Alabang Town Center. catching up! I missed them so bad. I missed laughing with them really hard. fun night it is!

so i found this old childhood picture of mine on my cork board in my bedroom wall. i've been looking for this! one of my favorite childhood photos. i look like a li'l boy with an 'a-b-c' dress on. LOL.

I was invited by my sister who is working at STRIP Ministry of Waxing (in Central, HK) to try their waxing treatment, since they need some models for the therapists' annual training. I was scared at first 'cause I thought it would hurt a lot, like what others always say - but it was fine. They have nice equipments and the staffs are really friendly. I think you guys should try STRIP as well. You won't regret, I PROMISE! :)

And so the most awaited day came. At exactly 12 midnight, me and my sister rushed to Central for the Versace x H&M collection. We waited for more than eight hours and we literally didn't sleep the whole night off!

Here are some photos. We were not allowed to take photos during the main event so I only got these. :)

End of queue. Yea, right. it got even longer around 5:30am. lol.

We weren't able to sleep but it was worth queueing up for. Awesome collection! It was like an amazing race shopping because we were only given ten minutes to shop, no fitting and we could only get one item per style. Thrilling! :) I would really consider to queue up again on the next collaboration.

DIY | Swag Project 102 | Studded Shorts

I love how denims are so useful in DIY's. This is the second time that I'm pimping my denim (which I've been wearing a lot) that my auntie gave me. It used to be a skin tight jeans that i just cut for I wanted to have a distressed denim shorts and now, I just got it studded. :)

Here are the materials I've used.

1. Denim or any shorts you prefer.

2. Studs (i chose the ones that i could just iron....easier.)

3. Scissors

4. Iron

since i got mine per yard, it was easier for me to do it. just measure, cut and iron. simple as that. :)

I've worn this once last week at our staff party in TST but I didn't get the chance to take a photo of it. So I wore it this afternoon when we went to Sham Shui Po to buy more stuff that I will be using for my next projects.

DIY | Swag Project 101 | Tassel Necklace

So I've finally decided to make DIY's. :) here's the first one.

Materials I've used.

First, measure the length of the chain you would be using. I doubled mine. I used the small round rings to connect them.

lock, of course.

for the tassels, make a knot on each small rings that connects the chains. simple as that! :)

VIOLA! :)

NOTES:

.you would be needing scissors too.

.burn the ends of the tassels a (little bit) so it wouldn't shred and mess up.

.you could also add some beads to make it more pretty.

way back, turning the pages of a Cosmopolitan Magazine (HK). It was a runway edition. I stopped on a page where there are photos from the backstage. A girl wearing a black vintage shirt, a black skin tight jeans and classic Chanel flats, sitting on a chair in front of the mirror with her feet up on the vanity table and texting.

that's when i recognized her. i admire her so much that i might just put a photo of her on my wall. well i do make her photos as my mobile wallpaper. and i love her style, definitely! :)

Holy Sunday it is. Me and my sister went to St. Joseph Church to pray and offer the flowers we bought from the flower shop nearby. It feels so good to finally get myself back into visiting and attending the mass on Sundays. I've been off to this habit for quite long since my working time was pretty hectic and tiring that I don't get to go to church anymore.

It was quite a windy Sunday, so I decided to wear this knit. It didn't appeared to be silver color in the photo, but it is. It's really nice. One of my favorite knits I have in my closet. If I could, I would keep it forever. :)

Strolled around Central after our performance for a Backstage Productions event. We wore all BLACK so I've finally used my Steve Madden Platform heels and my old Cotton On laced leggings that I've been keeping for a long time. :)

Black is beautiful. But some just doesn't really appreciate how beautiful it is - count my mom in. I remember back then when girls usually make 'Pink' as their 18th birthday/debut party motif. Pink is a nice color, no offense. I love it too! But I wanted mine to be different, so I had a 'Black and White' motif. More black, actually. :) Black linens on the table, black satin cloth wrapped around every chairs and my awesome black and white mini dress (which I should have taken a photo - probably when I get back to Philippines). Most of my guests were wondering why. Some might have thought that I was in rebel mode or something. No, people! I AM NO REBEL. I just think it's neat and classy. *share* lol.

holla! since a lot has been asking if who's taking my pictures for my blog - meet my sister, SYLAVY (pronounced as 'see-la-vee' lol) and sometimes my father, too. He's always like "lookbook! lookbook!" :p

More than a week ago, i have finally ombred/dip-dyed my hair. I love it! I did it by myself and it's really easy. It only cost me HK$28 (more or less 150PHP). If I had it done at the salon, it'll be HK$500. I even dyed my sisters hair as well. hah!

feather earrings. <3 still can't find feather hair extensions. anybody know where I can find it in Hong Kong?

I'vebeen addicted to knit-wears for long probably because of my favorite bloggerfor all seasons, Rumi Neely .But knit-wears are really awesome! Seriously! You'll see a lot of them in mycloset and I would certainly buy more. H&M, where I got mine's got niceknits and they have them in various colors, most are in bright solid colors.Speaking of , 'Color Blocking' has been my favorite trend this year. Twoor more solid colors in an outfit used to be really hard and challenging formany where a lot would end up wearing safe and neutral colors. But now, almosteverybody has been doing it. I have a long hair and been doing just V-cuts, layers, bangs and safe hair colors for like forever. I'm kind of gettin' bored doing the same thing over and over so I wanna do something new with it.

went to Philippines for vacation. it was hardcore - i went to the airport right after my work around 4am.lol

As know as de Rue wedges - got this from I.T. outlet in CWB. it's awesome and so comfortable.

last sunday before going to Lane Crawford I unexpectedly went first to the FCUK botique - just out of curiosity, i wanted to see if what they have this season.

tried on some pieces, mostly knit-wears since i'm into those kinds as of the moment.

...and so i bought this awesome knit-wear. it's an off-shoulder and in gray color.
